The Kohler Model 150REZGC-O is a Defender™ Series generator with 150 kW (150 kVA) 60 Hz,of maximum output. These industrial generators are suitable for standby and prime power with Prime power calculated as 135 kW (135 kVA) 60 Hz,. Kohler generators are designed for use in virtually all applications where power is needed. All models are built with the quality and reliability you would expect from Kohler,  a leading generator manufacturer.

The Kohler brushless alternator utilized on this model is manufactured to exacting specifications using the best manufacturing methods. Kohler generators use electronic technology to control the voltage with a voltage variation of less than 1.5% throughout the entire power range. That means you can use this generator with computers and sensitive electronics safely, with no sacrifice in generator performance.

This model features a premium PSI/GM Model Industrial 8.8 L , 8 cylinder, 259 HP, NG/LP fueled, liquid cooled engine with electric start. This model runs at 1800 RPM and generates 150 kW (150 kVA) 60 Hz,of Standby (emergency or maximum) power and 135 kW prime (continuous) power at a primary voltage of 120/208 VAC, single phase, 60 Hertz, with 1.5% voltage accuracy 6% Frequency accuracy. Single phase models are available as 120/240 VAC. Three phase models are available as 120/240, 120/208 or 277/480 VAC. 

Dimensions: Open dimensions are 110.2" Long X 44.1" Wide X 60.6" High. Open weight is 3175 lbs. Enclosed dimensions are 110.2" Long X 44.1" Wide X 60.6" High. Enclosed weight is 3675 lbs.

Quality Control & Load Bank Testing: All Kohler generators are factory load bank tested to rated capacity. Kohler requires startup by an authorized Kohler dealer. GeneratorJoe will arrange for the local dealer where the generator is located to contact the buyer and arrange for startup. Startup fees are determined by the local Kohler dealer and are not included in GeneratorJoe's prices.

Enclosures: Weather and sound proof enclosures (if available), are built using steel panels and locking doors on a modular structural base frame. Sound enclosures include a rock-wool layer of insulation, which complies with the prevailing regulations and accomplishes the sound attenuating elements. Most enclosures include hot ambient air pusher fan. Select an enclosure from the Product Options windows, if available. Tier 4 models are sold with weather/sound enclosures only.

Fuel Tanks: No tanks are provided for NG/LP generators. If you need a propane tank, contact your local propane provider or for natural gas contact your local utility.

Transfer Switches: The automatic transfer switch monitors utility and generator power. When utility power fails or is unsatisfactory, the transfer switch control starts the generator set.
